• Is Straw Hat open year-round?

  Straw Hat is open from November through August. We close for September and October annually

• We want to come sit on the beach for the day! What’s the deal?

  Straw Hat has beach chairs and beach service for guests who choose to have breakfast or lunch (or both!) with us. Our beach chairs are free for guests who dine with us and are not available for rent. We do not allow outside food or drinks at our beach chairs, and no coolers are allowed at any time.

• Are the menu prices in $US or $EC?

  All prices are listed in $US

• I am (gluten/dairy/shellfish/etc) free. Can you accommodate me (or someone in my party)?

  YES! Please give us a heads up when you make your reservation and also make sure to tell your server when you arrive at the restaurant. Straw Hat takes all dietary restrictions and allergies VERY seriously and will work with you to accommodate your special needs.

• Is there a dress code?

  Being open all day we welcome beachwear in the daytime hours, however as a courtesy to our other guests we do respectfully request that a cover-up be worn when dining in the restaurant. We also ask that you dry off before entering the restaurant. In the evenings we are still a casual and comfortable restaurant, but we do request no bathing suits or tank tops.

• Do you accept credit cards?

  Straw Hat accepts all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express & Discover). We also accept US dollars, EC dollars (EC$2.68=US$1 at all times), Euros and Pounds (exchange rate determined by Google at the time of the transaction)
